Anonymous sent: Some guy asked me who my favorite player was and I answered Xabi Alonso and he automatically assumed I only liked him because of his good looks. He says if I really knew a thing or two about football, my favorite player should be a striker. Apparently, "all Xabi does is pass anyway" -______-

I like how he basically told you you know nothing about football while proving that he himself actually doesn’t know anything about football. There’s a real irony there :|

Anonymous sent: unfortunately, i am not kidding. i know how you're not suppose to support two teams in the same league but i equally admire and respect players from lfc and cfc. i'm sorry. spare me.

Yeah well that doesn’t really work but okay….

Anonymous sent: hi. your blog's pretty entertaining! i recently just started liking football. can you post which clubs are rivals? or does that make me sound like an idiot football fangirl?

Not at all, you can’t be expected to know everything straight away and it’s good that you want to know so you can make sure you’re doing things right ^_^

Someone actually asked me something similar to this a while ago and cause there’s so many rival teams, I made a post to just let people reply with their clubs and rivals, so take a look at the post and responses HERE and hopefully that should help you out :)

Anonymous sent: "my brother is mad at me because i like chelsea and arsenal at the same time and he says you cant do that but BITCH I CAN." A quote I saw in the Arsenal tag that made me chuckle in disbelief.

*facepalm*

Yeah, you can do that, technically. Doing it makes you a total idiot, but if that what makes you happy!

Seriously, basically what that person is saying is that they are actively making a decision to be a bad fan :|

football-obsession sent: It was an error in my submission, I made a mistake. The question it isn't: you score it, but who score it. Sorry :x

Ah don’t worry plenty of people make mistakes when typing, I’m sure most people could figure it out but I’ll publish this just so people can see ^_^

I totally get the point of your blog. A few days ago my favourite team (Sporting Lisbon) played against its biggest rival and unfortunately welost.Next day at school  I was in a really bad mood (of course) and then a girl of my class says to me at loud in our Biology class: “In your face Sporting lost yesterday” and I was like: “Oh yeah and you even saw the game, so you have the morality to talk” “Yup, that second goal was phenomenal” ” It was good indeed, but you scored it?” She obviously didn’t know the answer; and I said ” It ispretty obviouse that you didn’t actually whatched the game and, please, if you want to discust football with me at lest learn your favourit team player’s names”.

It is gets really annoying when some girls try to pretend that they are football fan when actually they are not, it is really annoying.

Thank you for our blog, I am glad that other people understand me.

Thank you to football-obsession for this submission. Totally explains why these idiot fangirls are so annoying. Fortunately there are also lots of good fans around, such as many people who kindly follow this blog :)

I am so sorry I haven’t updated in forever.

…yes, clearly that person does not know how good Real Madrid are because they are a girl. It couldn’t at all be because they’re not a football fan, which “other team” implies….

Anonymous sent: Personally when a dutch team is in champions league, i'll cheer for them no matter what. So my national team love kind of overrules my club love. Is this situation a fan-girl-felony? -x-

Nah, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being proud of your country. Besides, it doesn’t mean you particularly like those teams, just you want your country to be successful. Also the better your country’s teams do in the Champions League the more places they get in the competition next year, so other teams doing well could actually be good for your own team if they’re only likely to finish 3rd or 4th in the domestic league :)
